• MELODI is a hypothesis generator. It identifies enriched overlapping objects which have been assigned to scientific literature and uses these to derive intermediate mechanisms.
  • The underlying annotation objects used for the analysis are semantic predications from the Semantic MEDLINE Datatabase (SemMedDB) and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).

  • Data are stored and investigated using a graph.
